The fossil fuels do not have thousands of years, let alone millions, left. Natural resources will be preserved, rather than destroyed, since we would no longer be in need of drilling or mining for fossil fuels nor would we need to cut down our forests. Many, many life forms would benefit from that. The sun is a clean energy source. It does not produce pollutants. When there are no pollutants produced, the ozone layer is not depleted. We can make our planet a healthier one with the sun. Solar power comes to you free of charge. The sun is already in the sky; all you need to do is install the power cells to collect it. These solar power cells can last a lifetime, so you do not need to replace any working parts every year. A solar powered home will not produce any noise pollution, either. It is a silent running system. The only noise will come from your appliances.
